This restaurant used to be called Uncle Joes, and it was NOT good, I think it was all frozen food recooked. It has since changed to the now Gastro 49 and can I say the change is for the way better!!!! Fresh, not frozen food, the way it should be made. My son, 10 years old, loves their wings and orders them every time we go, and I have to agree, they are good. The wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We like to order different kinds, but our favorite is the hot, ask for sauces that aren't on the menu because not all of the choices are listed at this time. Today, my daughter and husband ordered the french onion soup and it was delicious! They also shared the mahi mahi tacos, they must have been good since they were gone in two seconds! The tacos came with a slightly spicy sauce, but my daughter said she didn't think it was really spicy, which was good to know for those that don't like spicy. The cook came out and talked to us about the food and was truly concerned about quality, which was nice to see! Friends of ours got us hooked on this place, they love the burgers and my husband agrees that they are delicious! There is a large beer menu as well if you are so inclined. So grateful the Rivera's had us try this place, I was reluctant, but I'm glad we listened!
